I started playing Uncharted 3, and I have to admit, I’m not all that impressed. There was a lot more melee then I was expecting, and coming off Arkham City the combat feels pretty bad.

It really does feel like more uncharted 2, which is good don’t get me wrong but even the animations are the same for the cover take downs, it’s very obvious from the level design when you are about to walk into an ambush… if you enter a room with cover nearby, you’re likely going to need it.

I want to reiterate, I really like it, the story is fun and they do some neat stuff with the gameplay because of it. The puzzles are much better, it kind of sucks that the NPCs chime in so quickly with their hints. It makes me feel like I’m kind of cheating especially when I’m sure i would have figured it out without their help.
