I just wanted to make a quick note to inaugurate the new theme deployed to the site, I mentioned a few weeks back that I wanted to do this to make the site feel like my own instead of using on readily available theme, with that, I’m pretty happy with how it looks so far… thats right, so far, it’s not completely finished… there are some areas that aren’t done yet, but they aren’t features that are being actively used at this point so I saw no problem with deploying what I have so far.

Unfortunately, “Comments” are one of the afore mentioned features, however, if you’ve got some feedback for me about the new look I’d be happy to hear it. Please shoot me an email sean@degenerategamer.net

It took quite a bit of time to get this far being my first real foray into PHP, and wordpress themes, but I hope to get the comments up very soon, within the next couple weeks.

Mass Effect 2: I never got a round to playing the first Mass Effect because it came out at a time where I was vehemently pissed at my xbox for being fragile… not fragile in a do not drop it from 3 feet sense, in a don’t let air particles gingerly bounce off it sense. I did however pick it up off a steam sale at some point over the holidays, I probably won’t be playing 2 until I’ve given the first one a solid try.

MAG: Curious, but I don’t think it’ll be very good… I just don’t see how any game can maintain the size of a user base that is going to need to be in order to support 256 player maps out of the gates… but regardless, the volume alone makes this interesting. it’s hard enough to get 4 people to do what they’re supposed to be doing, online gamers don’t listen to strategy from my experience, I could see it being awesome if you had 250 close friends who wanted to be successful, but there will always be some douchebag hanging out by himself in the middle of nowhere.

Nothing appealing this week, but I suppose thats OK. I’ve still got some work on Darksiders that needs to be done.
